SANAVRAY WoundCare (SANAVRAY), a new treatment for rapid and effective treatment of both acute and chronic wounds in animals, is a proprietary extract of a tropical plant which has been reported in over 700 studies to be highly effective in healing wounds, burns, abrasions and ulcers.

Why is SANAVRAY different?
SANAVRAY - A proprietary formulation (CO-PA®), derived from the tropical medicinal plant Chromolaena odorata, contains natural phenolic compounds and is clinically observed to repair damaged skin. It is hemostatic, antioxidant, antibacterial, antiviral and provides pro-healing support.
CO-PA® is an organic medicinal plant extract which is environmentally sustainable.

Directions for use
Spray on the affected area several times daily or as necessary until recovery is complete. Cover area if necessary. To stop bleeding, soak gauze with SANAVRAY and press on the wound for ten seconds.
The Science Behind SANAVRAY
How Does It Work?
The product of more than two decades of research on wound healing and tissue repair in leading universities and research centres, SANAVRAY promotes the growth of granulation tissue, stimulates fibroblast proliferation and collagen lattice production, and has potent antioxidant, antimicrobial and antifungal properties.
SANAVRAY supports Intact Skin Surrounding Wound which contains important cellular components, namely fibroblasts, keratinocytes and endothelial cells that are crucial in wound healing.
Skin structure including epidermis (including keratinocytes) and dermis (with fibroblasts and macrophages as residing cells and collagen and elastin fibers as the main extracellular matrix components).

Over 700 published studies in medical and scientific journals have demonstrated the wound healing properties of the source plant of SANAVRAY, Chromolaena odorata, which is shown to:
- Stimulate skin cell production and collagen lattice formation.
- Increase skin elasticity and reduce scarring.
- Have antimicrobial, antiviral, antifungal and antioxidant properties and hemostatic properties – i.e. stops bleeding.
- Be a powerful antioxidant and has antibacterial effects on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
- Have been found to accelerate hemostatic and wound healing activities by altering the expression of genes, including HO-1, TXS, and MMP-9.
- In the presence of SANAVRAY, Thromboxane synthase (TXS), a potent vasoconstrictor and platelet aggregator, was increased and MMP-9, an anti-platelet aggregator, was decreased.
In vitro test shows that after just one application of CO-PA® on
human skin cells, CO-PA® was able to stimulate secretion of fibronectin to 236%
from human dermal fibroblasts after 7 days.

After administration of Hydrogen Peroxide, the Control cells are dying (left image). There has been no CO-PA® administered. In the C.O. treated sample (right image), there is no cell death by Day 7 after treatment with CO-PA® on Day 1. This demonstrates 100% protection in the presence of CO-PA®.
In vitro test on skin cells shows CO-PA® extract at 100mg/ml protects dermal fibroblasts against hydrogen peroxide oxidant damage.

Despite trying different measures like changing her diet, giving her a probiotic, and cleaning her paws regularly, my cat still suffers from severe allergies that cause irritation to her skin and paws. Although I modified my cat's diet, her allergies persist. Moreover, my elderly feline developed a recurrent hotspot that usually necessitated a visit to the veterinarian for an injection of antibiotics and steroids. But with repeated steroid shots, the vet cautioned that his kidneys could be adversely affected, hence recommended home treatment instead. On a Saturday night, my dog injured himself and had a bad gash and was bleeding quite a lot. As expected, it was difficult to find veterinary care at that time. Luckily, I had a bottle of SANAVRAY product sample which was given by my vet. I sprayed the SANAVRAY solution onto a gauze dressing and placed it gently on my dog's wound to stop the bleeding. I was relieved and happy to see that the bleeding stopped soon after. I continued to apply SANAVRAY on my dog's wound over the weekend. Although I did take my dog to the vet on Monday, the vet remarked that the wound was healing well. I strongly suggest this product for wound care.
After adopting a stray cat as an outdoor pet, I noticed that he had an infected wound. However, applying the SANAVRAY worked wonders for him. Within a few days, the unpleasant smell disappeared, and the damaged tissue began to heal. With daily application for about a week, the wound was already closed.
